Breaking News: Air Peace Launches Abuja–London Flights, Fares Start at N1m

Date:

In a major boost to international air travel for Nigerian passengers, Air Peace, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, has officially launched its fares for the eagerly anticipated Abuja–London Heathrow route.

The airline announced the development on Saturday evening, with round-trip ticket prices starting from as low as N1 million.

According to a statement released by the airline’s spokesperson, Mr. Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the new international service will commence on October 26, 2025, offering direct flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

With this development, Air Peace became the first Nigerian carrier to provide direct service to both of London’s major international gateways from the Nigerian capital.

Passengers across Nigeria can now enjoy seamless travel via Abuja to London, as the airline introduces through-ticketing options from all its domestic destinations.

This means travellers no longer need to make multiple bookings or worry about rechecking baggage when connecting through Abuja.

Likewise, inbound passengers from London can conveniently reach multiple Nigerian cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba, all on a single ticket. More destinations are expected to be added in the future.

“This expanded connectivity provides a significant competitive edge,” the airline noted, “allowing passengers to enter and exit Nigeria through multiple cities, offering more flexibility, convenience, and value.”

In addition to affordable fares, the airline is also offering generous baggage allowances, positioning the Abuja–London service as a game-changer in transcontinental air travel for Nigerian passengers.

With a history of breaking barriers and launching bold new routes in African aviation, Air Peace says the Abuja–London service marks another milestone in its mission to make international travel more accessible and affordable for Nigerians.

Tickets are now available for booking via the airline’s official website, www.flyairpeace.com, and through accredited travel agents nationwide.
