The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) has been honoured with the Aviation Ground Handling Company of the Year Award by Transport Day Media, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the growth of the aviation industry and a stellar 2024 operating year.
The award was presented during the Transport Day Annual Lecture and Awards held at Radisson BLU Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The prestigious event brought together key stakeholders across Nigeria’s transportation sector to celebrate excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
While presenting the award, Transport Day Media Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Frank Kintum, commended NAHCO’s consistency, resilience, and brand strength. “NAHCO is a company the Nigerian aviation community should be proud of,” he said.
This latest recognition adds to NAHCO’s growing list of industry accolades in 2024, including the Champion of the Industry Award conferred by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and another Aviation Handling Company of the Year Award from Air Transport Quarterly.
Speaking on the recognition, Dr. Sola Obabori, Group Executive Director, Corporate Services at NAHCO, expressed gratitude on behalf of the company.
