At the presentation ceremony held at the airline’s headquarters in Lagos, the Head of Quality, Engineer Patrick Achurefe, expressed gratitude to the airline’s Chairman, Dr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, for his steadfast support throughout the rigorous audit process.
Achurefe recounted Air Peace’s journey to its first IOSA certification in 2016, just two years after commencing operations, and emphasized the consistent dedication required to maintain this recognition. “This achievement reflects the exceptional expertise and commitment of our team, who have worked tirelessly to ensure compliance with the stringent standards of the IOSA audit,” he said.

He also praised the progressive policies of Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Hon. Festus Keyamo, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Highlighting the recent signing of the Cape Town Convention, Onyema noted its potential to enhance local airline capacity, reduce operational costs, and make air travel more affordable for Nigerians.
The event was graced by top executives from Air Peace, including Director of Flight Operations Captain Augustin Kamano, Head of Training Captain Gerald Udaya, and Safety Manager Captain Godfrey Ogbogu, Head, Corporate Communications, Dr Ejike Ndiulo; among others.
