NAHCO Strengthens Global Ties, Aims for ₦300 Billion Revenue by 2029

Date:

West Africa’s foremost ground handling service provider, NAHCO Aviance, has rounded off the year positively by renewing contracts with three prestigious global airlines—Emirates, Turkish Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic.

These extensions reinforce NAHCO’s standing as a leader in the aviation industry and support its ambitious goal of reaching a ₦300 billion revenue milestone by 2029, a target announced at its Facts Behind the Figures presentation at the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

The renewed partnership with Emirates, which resumed scheduled flights to Nigeria in October, extends NAHCO’s comprehensive ground handling services to the airline for another five years.

Virgin Atlantic also renewed its trust in NAHCO, highlighting the company’s consistent service excellence over the years.

Similarly, Turkish Airlines extended its long-standing partnership, reaffirming NAHCO as its preferred ground handling service provider in Nigeria.

Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NAHCO Plc, Mr. Indranil Gupta, described the development as a significant milestone for the company and its stakeholders.

Gupta lauded NAHCO’s 45-year legacy of excellence in the aviation sector and reaffirmed its commitment to client satisfaction and shareholder value.

He emphasised the company’s focus on investing in modern equipment and workforce training to meet service obligations and achieve its long-term revenue targets.

Group Executive Director for Commercial & Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, highlighted the importance of the renewed contracts, describing them as evidence of the airlines’ confidence in NAHCO’s capabilities.
