ASRTI to Host BBM on Cape Town Convention’s Impact on Airlines and Economy

The Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI) has announced its third-quarter Business Breakfast Meeting (BBM), themed “The Implications of the Cape Town Practice Direction on the Fortunes of Nigerian Airlines and the Economy.” The event will take place on November 28, 2024, at the Golfview Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Honourable Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), will deliver the keynote address, setting the tone for in-depth discussions among aviation industry stakeholders. The meeting will explore the effects of the Cape Town Convention (CTC) Practice Direction on Nigeria’s aviation sector and broader economy.

This BBM provides an opportunity for stakeholders to critically assess the implications of the CTC on airlines and the economy, aligning with our goal of advancing safety and efficiency in the industry.”
