Air Peace, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, has announced the launch of its monthly commercial flight operations connecting Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbados, beginning December 21, 2025.
This groundbreaking route positions Air Peace as the first African carrier to operate direct scheduled flights between the West and Central African regions and the Caribbean, marking a significant milestone in intercontinental connectivity.
According to the airline, the new route aligns with its strategic vision to deepen regional and international travel links, promote tourism, and foster stronger trade and cultural relations between Africa and the Caribbean.
Building on its history of pioneering long-haul operations including the historic Lagos–Montego Bay (Jamaica) charter in 2020 and the Abuja–St. Kitts & Nevis service in 2025 the airline is reaffirming its role as a major bridge between continents.
To make the travel experience seamless, Air Peace has partnered with Tour Brokers International (Nigeria), Sun Seekers Tours (Ghana), and Adansi Travels (Ghana) to design exclusive tour packages for travelers exploring the Caribbean.
Fares for the Antigua and Barbados monthly flights are already available on the airline’s official website, www.flyairpeace.com, as well as through accredited travel agents.
Currently, Air Peace operates over 20 domestic, 10 regional, and 8 international destinations, including routes to London, Dubai, Jeddah, Johannesburg, and Mumbai. Its modern fleet — comprising Boeing 777s, Airbus A330s, Boeing 737s, and Embraer jets — underscores the airline’s commitment to world-class safety, reliability, and affordability.
With this latest addition, Air Peace continues to position Nigeria as a central hub for Africa–Caribbean travel and intercontinental growth.
