President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr. Ismaila Danjuma Adamu, PhD, as the substantive Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT).

A distinguished academic and administrator, Dr. Adamu holds a B.Sc and MBA from Ahmadu Bello University and a PhD from the University of Huddersfield, UK.
His doctoral research focused on The Impact of International Air Transport Liberalization: The Case for Nigeria.
His professional development includes training in Air Transport Marketing at Westminster, the ICAO Trainair Plus Competency Course in Kenya, and the ICAO Basic Aviation Security (AVSEC) Course in Bahrain.
His exposure to global aviation trends and regulatory frameworks equips him to propel NCAT toward greater achievements.
Before his appointment, Adamu served as an Aviation Management Resource Person at NCAT, contributing significantly to training and development.
His expertise spans aviation and land transport sectors, positioning him as a transformative leader for the institution.
